For the past 4 years, we have resided in a Villa at John Ganton’s Countryside. Prior to that, we had resided at another retirement community for 2 1/2 years. We were not very satisfied there and started looking around the area for something we felt would fit our needs better. We spent a considerable amount of time walking around and driving through Countryside. We were very impressed with the appearance of the landscaping and the lawns. We decided to make an appointment to check everything out more thoroughly. After a few visits, we were even more impressed and decided to make the move. We have been very content with the change we made.

On the occasions when we have eaten in the dining room at the Grand or at the Cafe in the Manor, the service and the meals have outstanding.

Jonny O’s is definitely a plus, we take advantage of the gym as often as we can which is probably not as often as we should, but we are very thankful for the opportunity to do so when we can.

The entire staff at Countryside is a pleasure to associate with. Everyone is always cheerful and friendly and we are always treated with the utmost of respect. They are always ready and prompt with handling any problems we may have.

We hope to have many more happy years here at Countryside.

Last fall our mother was diagnosed with stage four cancer. In December she came to stay at The Grand, and it was the best decision we could have ever made with her. From the moment she came to stay in your facility, a sense of peacefulness settled over her. She felt safe and relaxed in this clean and friendly environment.

While mom enjoyed her quiet time in her room, she also appreciated the opportunities to socialize around the facility. She enjoyed meeting other residents as she walked the halls and shared meals with them in the dining room. . . mom was thankful she could have her own friends visit and occasionally join her for meals . . .

Not only was our mom’s stay here a positive experience for her, it was also a positive experience for us. We were impressed by your dedicated staff. Our minds were at ease because we knew she was receiving the best care, and the staff was compassionate and attentive to her needs.

Our housekeeper, Jay is so careful in keeping the corridors clean and the mopping done in the Bistro and other places. He has a wonderful smile and seems to be on time for work. When asked, he says he enjoys his job. Thank you, Jay.
