Countryside Retirement Community seeks a Medical Assistant with enthusiasm for serving the Senior population.
Great Part Time Hours! We have a need for 3 days one week and 2 days the next from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Then every other weekend 7am-3:30pm
Job responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Welcoming residents and families
- Updating and filing residents medical records
- Coding and filling out insurance forms
- Scheduling appointments
- Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Handling correspondence
- Administering medication
- Caring for all aspects of residents health and wellbeing
- Treatments
- Working with residents’ physicians for optimal care
- Supervising direct care staff
- Transcribing physician’s orders
- Emergency medical care
- Interacting with resident families
- Reporting to the Director of Nursing
